Tawakkalna is the official COVID-19 app approved by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health and developed by the National Information Center to control the spread of the coronavirus. Below is the procedure for registering in the Tawakkalna app.
How to register in the Tawakkalna app without having an Absher account?
If you are not registered with Absher, you will need a recommendation from a registered user through the “Mobile Number Verification for Tawakkalna” service on the Absher platform; following is the step-by-step procedure,
1 – Login to Absher account
2 – Select Individuals
3 – Click Services
4 – Select Services
5 – Click on General Services
6 – Click Register a Mobile Number for Tawakkalna
7 – Fill in the mandatory fields
- Iqama Number
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Number
8 – Once the verification process is completed, you will receive an SMS stating that you can register in the Tawakkalna app.
9 – The recommender will receive an SMS on their Absher registered phone containing a verification code to complete the Tawakkalna registration process.
Procedure to Register in Tawakkalna Application (for those already registered in Absher)
1 – Install the Tawakkalna app from the Play Store, App Store, HUAWEI AppGallery or Samsung Store.
2 – Open the app and click on “Sign up.”
3 – Select Citizen / Resident.
4 – Enter your Iqama number and date of birth, then click on Next.
5 – Then enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
6 – Create a password (the password must contain at least 8 characters, a combination of lowercase and uppercase letters and numbers and symbols).
7 – Select your residence location.
8 – Answer the questions related to your health:
- Have you been outside the Kingdom for the past two weeks?
- Have you been in close contact with a person who has confirmed with covid-19 during the past two weeks?
- Do you have a high fever?
- Do you have a cough?
That’s all, you have finished the “Tawakkalna app” registration.
