1000+ Covid-19 Cases First Time After Several Months

Tuesday, April 20, 2021, Saudi Arabia has reported 1,070 new infections over the past 24 hours—a record after several months.

Latest Update from the Ministry of Health:

As of 20th April 2021, coronavirus cases update in Saudi Arabia;

New Cases: 1070 | Total Cases: 407,010
New Recoveries: 940 | Total Recoveries: 390,538
Active Cases: 9,626
New Mortality: 12 | Total Mortalities: 6,846

The highest number of new cases is recorded from Riyadh Region with 483, followed by the Makkah region with 209 and the Eastern region with 157 infections.

This is a strong reminder about taking the precautionary and preventive measures more seriously for this may lead us to a road of restrictions and isolations that we wouldn’t want to go through again.
