30% Accounting Jobs to be given to Saudi: HR Minister announced Saudization in another profession with a minimum wage. The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed Al-Rajhi, issued a ministerial decision to localize the accounting professions in the private sector that employ 5 or more workers with accounting professions at a rate of 30%. This will provide 9.8 thousand jobs to Saudi Locals in the Kingdom.
30% Accounting Jobs to be given to Saudi till June 2021
Starting June 12, 2021, the new decision applies to all local private entities with at least five accounting professionals.

The decision aims to provide decent job opportunities for qualified local cadres in the labour market. And to promote productive and sustainable localization. The decision to localize the accounting profession aims to provide 9,800 jobs. Here are the targeted job titles:
- Accounts Manager
- Director of Zakat and Taxes Department
- Director of Financial Reports Department
- General Auditing Department
- Internal Auditors
- Cost Accountants
- and others.
Saudi Accountants must obtain professional accreditation from the Saudi Organization for Accountants. And the wages of Saudi Accountant should not be less than 6,000 Saudi Riyals for Bachelor degree holder and 4,500 thousand Saudi Riyals for diploma holders.
