UAE Grants 10 Year Golden Visa to Certain Professional Resident Expatriates
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) to begin issuing 10 years Golden visa to expatriates with some professions or to those who has specialized degrees, high school students living in the UAE and university students with GPA of 3.8 or higher announced Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Dubai Ruler and Vice President of UAE.
The announcement of 10 Years ‘Golden Visa’ is to attract people to the UAE and to improve the living standards for expatriates in the country.
Resident expatriates who holds a doctoral degrees, all doctors, engineers in the field of computer engineering, electronics, programming, electricity and biotechnology can apply for this special visa.
The Golden residency will also be granted to holders of specialized degrees in Artificial Intelligence (AI), big data or epidemiology and viruses. In addition to the first high school diplomas in the country with their families.
This move comes as part of UAE’s mission to foster young talent and attract highly skilled professionals to the Emirates, said Sheikh Mohammed.
More than 200 doctors treating Corona patients were also granted permanent Golden Residency visas for their efforts in the fight against the novel Corona virus.
